- Armoured cable cut to length as required.
- Mainly used for industrial wiring and mains distribution
- Ideal for outdoor power & garden lighting around the home.
- SWA cable is often used in industrial areas, both in and around buildings.
- Can be installed on cable tray, buried direct in concrete or in underground cable duct.
- Armoured cables can be fixed to surface using cable cleats.
- Manufactured to BS 5467 Table 13.
- Core colours: 1 x blue, 1 x brown, 1 x black, 1 x grey, 1 x green/yellow.
- Plain annealed copper conductor – Class 2 stranded to BS EN 60228.
- Thermo-setting XLPE insulated – Type GP8 to BS 7655-1.3.
- PVC bedded.
- Galvanised steel wire armour braiding.
- PVC sheathed 600/1000V – Type 9 to BS 7655-4.2.
